The exam was held on 14th May 2023, and the official answer key was released on 16th May 2023. The eagerly awaited result is expected to be officially announced by the third or fourth week of June 2023. The UPPSC PCS Result will be published exclusively on the website https://uppsc.up.nic.in/, providing details of the eligible candidates for the Mains exam.
The Prelims stage is qualifying in nature. Candidates who appeared for the Provincial Civil Service selection process must secure at least the cutoff marks to be shortlisted in the UPPSC PCS Result 2023 PDF. The result will include the names, roll numbers, dates of birth, and other details of the candidates who are eligible to appear for the Mains exam. How to check the UP PCS Prelims Result 2023?
- Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission: https://uppsc.up.nic.in/.
- Look for the option that says “List of Selected Candidates for UPPSC PCS (Mains) Exam 2023” and click on it.
- Open the downloaded PDF file and search for your roll number to check if you have been shortlisted for the Mains exam.
- Candidates who appeared in UPPSC PCS (Prelims) 2023 are advised to regularly visit https://uppsc.up.nic.in/ to stay updated on the official declaration of the result.
UPPSC PCS Cut Off 2023
There are a total of 173 vacancies for PCS posts, and a large number of candidates from different categories such as UR, OBC, SC, ST, etc., participated in the examination. The cut-off marks for each category are influenced by factors such as the number of vacant seats and the number of candidates. For Paper 1 of the Prelims, the official cut-off marks will be released by UPPSC. The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 2 are 33%. It is expected that the cut-off marks for the General category will be between 145 to 153 marks.

UP PCS Mains Exam Date 2023
Candidates who secure at least the cut-off marks in the Prelims will be called for the Mains exam. The official exam date for the UP PCS Mains 2023 has already been announced. The Mains exam will take place on 23rd September 2023 across various exam centers in the state. The examination will consist of eight papers, and candidates will have a duration of three hours to attempt the maximum number of questions.
